I just bought the Pro Limiter for my HD Native system and was surprised to find that is also an LKFS and True Peak meter. I had used it on dub stages, but it was always hidden away on the recorder system (which is never on my side of the console) so I never really checked it out. Also I had been told that it was not available in AAX Native format. Is that a new thing? Anyway, I love this plugin, I can get so much valuable info from it in addition to it being an excellent TP limiter, it was relatively cheap and it doesn't take up a ton of resources.

I have spent so much money over the years on LKFS meters like DMM and true peak limiters like Elixir, that it's great to finally get a plugin that does both, doesn't chew up resources or cause extreme latency and doesn't cause glitches. Too bad I'll never be able to recoup the couple of grand I spent on those other plugins, but at the time there didn't seem to be much else available. How do you find the TP limiting compares to Elixir (which I also love) - or are you using this plug-in more due to efficiency rather than sound? How do you find the TP limiting compares to Elixir (which I also love) - or are you using this plug-in more due to efficiency rather than sound?Elixir is great for projects that I do totally in my own studio, but none of the facilities where I also work have it, so I needed something that was more universally available for when I work on projects both at home and at facilities. The Pro limiter works exactly as it should for TP. Navicat For Postgresql Serial Number here. I think it's pretty transparent sounding and the interface is clean and efficient.

I don't tend to watch the LKFS levels constantly, I just check them now and again, so I don't need anything fancy. I compared the readings from the Pro Limiter with DMM and Isotope Insight and they all agree with each other. For general purpose metering I prefer Insight because I like the K20 ballistics and the Spectrogram, but I also like to keep an eye on the bus limiters to see how hard I'm hitting them. Sometimes having all of those plugin windows open isn't practical real estate-wise, so I toggle back and forth as needed. Not going to miss the DMM at all.
