I'd like to think of myself as a pretty good electrical person, most of the guys at work come to me after they have failed and usually I can help out. I have to tell you that this turn signal just pissed me off on how un-standard it is. I used to think that Honda had it together because of all the good luck I have had with their cars, but ever since I got this bike, I have begun to think differently about their wiring practices, they are ALMOST as bad as the French and their MACK trucks with all pink wires and super thin colored stripes, it makes trouble shooting for a older person a pain in the ass. I made the mistake of cutting all the wires to put in the turn signal I bought from Custom Dynamics along with a bunch of LED lights and it became a hassle, in the end I put in heat shrink butt connectors and left it in place.
